"Sparrow Face" Is The New Duck Face

The latest selfie trend is the so-called “sparrow face.” It’s already hot in Japan.

To achieve the coveted “sparrow” look, open your eyes wide and part your mouth slightly, “like you’re a baby bird waiting” for a tasty worm.

According to Kotaku, the Japanese term for “sparrow face” is “chun-gao” (チュン顔). “Chun” refers to “chun chun” (チュンチュン), which means “chirp” or “cheep.” “Gao” (顔) means “face.” So, literally it’s “chirp face.

But some men in Tokyo are now likely reassessing what they see in a lady after being played for a fool by an attractive woman dubbed the “duck-mouth girl,” who has been drugging and robbing male targets across the metropolis ...

On April 3, police released footage from a security camera of the woman. Attired in a dark coat and white gloves, the woman, appearing to be in her 20s, shopped inside the convenience store. HEY!!!!!!!!!!!! No need fror reverse snobbery. UnAmericaned Budweiser is a perfectly drinkable lager in both Japan and Canada, and probably elsewherez. Think of a low gluten Heineken or somting. I order it just to PO all my low market micro-brew drinking hipster lemming friends. And they bite. Middling Class Conformity is a terrible weight to bear, man. The only time I have ever been disappointed was when they gave me a Direct Import Bud in Okinawa. That was the first time I ever understood why all you natives despise it so. Had I known it was Real Bud I would have ordered an Orion, but they came in cans and bottles do drink nicer. Certainly one of the most iconic bottles in all beerendom (I grew up on stubbies, so long necks have a foreign cachet)

New revelations about woman accused of drugging, robbing Tokyo men
The Tokyo Reporter - 2014/07/21
For the past three months, Tokyo Metropolitan Police have sought a woman believed to be responsible for the drugging and robbing of multiple men in the metropolis over the last two years.
Earlier this month, Tokyo police got their “man,” reports Friday (Aug. 1). On July 7, officers arrested 30-year-old Ikki Jin, who introduced herself to her victims as “voice actress Aiko.”
Officers accused the 30-year-old resident of Suginami Ward of lacing an alcoholic drink consumed by a 23-year-old male with a sleeping powder and robbing him of a total of 350,000 yen in cash and valuables after meeting him near JR Okubo Station early on February 27.
Using similar methods, Jin is believed to have swindled a 32-year-old man employed in the real estate industry on December 14. Four months later, police released footage from a security camera of the woman as she shopped with the victim inside a convenience store.
Other male victims residing in a number of different parts of the city subsequently came forward, with each claiming to have been conned by a woman who said she was a voice actress named “Aiko.”
According to Friday, Jin suffers from a sexual disorder, having lived the life of a man since she came to Tokyo in 2007. She eventually would have an operation to reduce her breasts.
