Map to Kyoto's Hot Spots

Postby Taro Toporific » Wed Sep 03, 2003 8:18 am

Kyoto police release maps of crime spots
(Yomiuri/ Sept 03 )
The Kyoto prefectural police recently drew up maps indicating areas where auto thefts and bag-snatchings have happened frequently and have posted them on their Web site....
Four maps can be viewed on the police's Web site http://www.pref.kyoto.jp/fukei/hanjou/bunsekishitu.htm

I'm off to Osaka/Kyoto in a couple of days. Free holiday! A conference, but it's in Japanese and not relevent to my work, so my boss said I can just take the registration fee and use it as spending money :D

Anyway, any FG recommendations on places to see that might not be in the two guide books I got from the library yesterday?
