early/mid 80s i think.. have yet to see it in either form, tho many love it in the uk.. heard craig charles of reddwarf did some of the dubbing, hope burt kwok got some work in there too

That's right. Craig does the dubbing. Think it's on Bravo channell. I figured it must be quite old because of the peoples dress sense. Though don't think that means much in Japan! Although it's called Takeshi's castle has Takeshi Kitano ever been in it? I heard it's named after him! Know also as Beat Takeshi.....used to be a comedian, then actor, then director. Don't know what he's doing now! Was cool in Violent Cop
