Code: Select all
MR. Wolfgang Froestl
Firstmerit Bank
London,uk

I am contacting you on a business transfer of a huge sum of money
from a deceased account. Though I know that a transaction of this
magnitude will make any one apprehensive and sceptical, but I am
assuring you that its been accurately planned and will be carried out
successfully with your full cooperation as long as you follow our
plans and instructions religiously. We decided to contact you due to
the urgency of this transaction.

PROPOSITION;
We discovered an abandoned sum of US$5,500,000.00 (five million five
hundred thousand united states dollars) in an account that belongs to
one of our foreign customers who died along with his entire family.
Since his death, none of his next-of-kin or relations has come
forward to lay claims for this money as the heir. We cannot release
the fund from his account unless someone applies for claim as the
next-of-kin to the deceased as indicated in our banking guidelines.
Upon this discovery, we now seek your permission
to have you stand as a next of kin to the deceased as all
documentations will be carefully worked out by us for the funds
(US$5,500,000.00) to be released in your favour as the beneficiary's
next of kin through my banks funds managers/clearing house overseas.
It may interest you to know that we have secured from
the probate an order of madamus to locate any of deceased
beneficiaries. Please acknowledge receipt of this message in
acceptance of our mutual business endeavour by furnishing me with the
following;
1. Beneficiary name and address
2. Direct Telephone and fax numbers
These requirements will enable us file letter of claim to the
appropriate departments for necessary approvals in your favour before
the transfer can be made. We shall be
compensating you with a million dollars on final conclusion of this
project, while the rest shall be for us. Your share stays while the
rest shall be for us for investment purposes.
If this proposal is acceptable by you, do not take undue advantage of
the trust we have bestowed in you, I await your urgent mail.

Regards,

MR. Wolfgang Froestl.

Everytime we get one of these off the fax here at the office I save it. They are hilarious. Some from daughters of heads of state, some from widows of heads of state, some from refugee former heads of state. All are so desperate. The letterhead is always ornate, the writing horrible, and the gravity extreme. I've got about 40. I should post them online. I bet someone else already has though.

I get at least 20 of these a day no joke.

I got another one of those scammer mails today but mine doesn't go so far as to mention how much money is involved.
Pretty boring compared to NeoNecroNomiCon's

Dear Sir,

My name is Nkomo Moses Mkomo, a Zimbabwean by nationality but presently residing in the Netherlands as a refugee.

Please, I am writing because of my interest in seeking a business partner who we can invest a large sum of money with his/her assistance together. The said amount of money was an inheritance left behind by my late father who was killed as a result of the on-going political problems in Zimbabwe over obnoxious farmland laws basically against white farmers. His death has political undertone because of his political stands.

The funds was taken out to an exclusive securities company in Amsterdam, Holland as a consignment but since the death of my father, effort to retrieve it has been quiet difficult because of my inability to meet the requirements of the securities company due to my condition.
I am seeking for a partner who will assist in retrieving the consignment, invest part of it in a very good economy and stand as an administrator of my family investment from the proceeds from the consignment. My would be partner(s) who will be presented as my beneficiary will be entitled to some percentage for his/her effort and while also some pecentage will be set aside to cover overall expenses incurred in the course of finalising the transaction.

Please, if you are interested, kindly send me your response which must include your telephone number and nature of business involved in. You must be willing to visit the security company so as to finalise the transaction. I will then give you more details on anything you will like to know concerning the whole transaction.

Thanks you very much for your time. I am looking forward to a long lasting business relationship with you.

Best regards.

Nkomo Moses Nkomo
