Damn, we have not heard from you in ages too.
His Wackitude Eminence, The Pongi, and I have been in touch and he's still crazy after all these years. Sadly, Pongi has fallen down a creative "hole" and has not made anything new for years (10?), meh.
On the other hand, there's been a huge backlash against Get-Wacky-in-Japan Videos, which was Pongi's schtick (so he dodged the bullet on that one).Pongi quoteth:

A 30-year-old British man has been killed in Japan, after he was hit by two separate cars in a double hit-and-run accident near Tokyo.
Grant Andrew McEwan was hit by a car crossing a road in Ina, Saitama Prefecture, after which a second car going in the opposite direction ran over him. Neither vehicle stopped.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our former director Ezra F. Vogel (1930-2020).
Professor Vogel served as director from 1973-75 and from 1995-99. He was a true champion of our center, an erudite scholar, and a wonderful friend. He will be truly missed.

My father passed today, from complications after surgery. He was completely healthy a week ago. He thoroughly enjoyed life, especially in his later years.
