Prostitution should be legal IMHO. Sex with children should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Two consenting adults should have the freedom to engage in sexual activities regardless of the factors motivating that sexual activity.

Legalizing prostitution will only clean up that industry and take it from the fetid bowels of the slums and shitholes, to a more organized "hotel" establishment...

They can never get rid of hookers, brothels, etc.. no matter how hard the authorities try.. might as well make it legal and be done with it. Clean it up, make it safe(r), tax it, and so on. Why not? Enjokosai is nasty.. sick perverts prostituting children and minors.. how pathetic and sickening. Surely they could find of age hookers and prostitutes to get their willies off on...

you still dont get it do you. in the US under age prostitition goes hand in hand with poverty and drugs and minority groups who live in slums.
NOT the middle class.

The Japanese that do this come from not only the lower class (if you could call it that in Japan....) but mostly the middle class. There are no drug dependencies involved just sheer greed and a niave culture.

There is a huge difference.

This is, and always has been, a non-issue. Because it's about sex it's fun to think about, the "urban legend" factor is huge, but, the actual numbers of good normal kids who sleep with middle aged men for a new handbag is tiny. Your own horniness is skewing the issue.

There are girls, in every country, who will do sex for money. I think in almost all of these cases there are larger issues at play: self-worth, childhood abuse, a sense of frustration with life, real brain chemical imbalances and the like.
