buggered ages?

can anyone post what they know of lucky/unlucky ages are in Japan?

I turned 33 yesterday and have a funny feeling it may be one of those buggered years (cant find that "uranai basan"'s book around the house either (you know the one, "regent" haircut, lovely house, on tv quite a bit, does those little fortune books every year)

if anyone could shed some light, it'd be appreciated

An interesting "strategy" is that Japanese women get particularly desperate at the yakudoshi age 32 for affection. The long-time author/hack of things Japanese Jack Stewart has said that he plans on being 80 years old and still hitting on desperate 32 year ladies in Roppongi.

Unlucky years depend largely on the temple you visit. 41,42, 43, and especially 44 are bad. As for good years temples, don't advertise that so much as it who the hell needs to pray if it already is a good year.
