Reuters via Yahoo: Goldman to pitch Japanese baseball-linked product
The Japanese arm of U.S. investment bank Goldman Sachs said on Friday it will pitch a new product to investors, linking returns to the performance of the Hanshin Tigers, a popular professional baseball team. The product, "Rokko Oroshi Basket e-Warrant", allows investors to buy long and short positions in an index composed of nine firms expected to benefit from a championship performance by the Osaka-based team. Investors can buy and sell warrants in the index, or hold until maturity on Nov. 16, after the championship Japan Series ends...more...
