F CKED GAIJIN Arrested in Yokohama for Attempted Robbery

JNN News (TBS) was reporting yesterday that an American guy had been arrested in Yokohama for attempting to run off with a woman's purse. Does anyone have more details on this story?

No, but I heard something similar of a 23 year old out of work J dude snatching a purse and getting arrested so maybe that's the deal.

Mr Kobayashi: First, I experienced a sort of overpowering feeling whenever I was in the room with foreigners, not to mention a powerful body odor coming from them. I don't know whether it was a sweat from the heat or a cold sweat, but I remember I was sweating whenever they were around.

YOKOSUKA, Kanagawa -- Two men were attacked by a knife-wielding assailant on the streets of Yokosuka late on Monday, sparking a police search for the culprit, whom witnesses said appeared to be of foreign descent. Police said the attacker grabbed a 47-year-old company manager from behind at about 11:15 p.m. on Monday and stabbed him in the chest...Investigators said the assailant appeared to be aged between about 20 and 30, and was about 180 centimeters tall. He appeared to be of foreign descent and was of sturdy build. He was wearing dark trousers and a shirt.

NARITA -- A Mongolian man was arrested early on Monday for stabbing a taxi driver, police said. The 38-year-old man, whose name is being withheld, flagged a taxi in Chiba but some trouble developed between him and the driver. A guard found the taxi on a street in Narita and alerted police at about 3:45 a.m. Police officers arrested the passenger, who said he was Mongolian, for attempted murder after the driver told them that the man had stabbed him. The driver sustained several serious stab wounds. Officers found a bloodstained knife in the taxi.
