The article was kinda white trash when the old guy shot the cat, hung it from a tree, and cut its tail off. Why would anyone do that?
I think it's a scam. The cat could be faked by tweaking the perspectives to make it look bigger. Wouldn't you try to bag it and bring it home to make a trophy out of it to really prove the size of it? But no, all he brought back was the tail.
