From the Hyozaemon site

Matsui has had one of his broken Yankees baseball bats turned into a set of chopsticks (and a shoe horn) for his old Yomiuri Giants mentor Nagashima.

Where is that ol' Secom pitchman? They certainly seem to have been keeping him under wraps since his stroke. Wonder if he suffers from hemispheric paralysis.

He has made a couple of recent appearances that have had some minimal TV coverage Dingo! They appeared to be very selective of what they showed of him. But you could tell from his movements that he did have some residual stroke signs on his body, arm and leg, on what I believe was his left side. But the views were so clipped and brief that it was hard to tell how much that he was impaired, but he definately was.
