Anywhere in Tokyo you can find such a beast?

Well, cleanliness is not an issu only if you are that type of a person. For me it is a huge issue that supercedes taste. Enjoy your unhygienic food. I'll stick to the tasty and clean Japanese food service.

I'm not a frequent eater of hamburgers. I'm no health nut. When I enjoy fast food it's got to taste good. If the best tasting burgers come from the back of a rusty van then that's where I'll go to eat them.

Same goes for kebabs and curries. Who hasn't suffered from the ring of fire after a truely great curry? It's always worth it. Curries are magical things.

First kitchen

Postby Jack » Wed Feb 26, 2003 11:45 pm

Oh, there is one place in Japan where I think the food is awful and that is a place called First Kitchen, or someting like that. Maybe Japanese people like the food there but it was certainly not to my taste.

First Kitchen, or Fakk-in (nice, eh?), is still one of those places I've been afraid to try. Even the view from the window doesn't look appetizing.

GomiGirl,
I could either give you a great kiss, or kill you 2 or 3 times...

You reminded me of one of my favorite foods that I havent thought about in a VERY long time........and now I have a taste for it and CANT GET TO IT!!!

Nikuman......sigh.......pizzaman...........sigh......

Circle K had them for 100yen. In the middle of the night if I got the munchies, I'd drive around the corner (lived in aomori, driving is simple) with 500 yen and get 2 nikuman and a beer and I'd be in business.......

I think I may need to return to Japan. I just like living there better.

As for McDonalds in Japan. They are better than U.S. hands down. The U.S. changed its chicken nugget and apple pie recipes for the "health concious" crowd. nuggets and pies in the U.S. are BAKED.....
UGH...I long for the deep fried apple pies that would burn your tongue because they were hot, and you'd need some milkshake to cool it down.
I will not abide ignorant intolerance just for the sake of getting along.
