Even with his ready smile and his bald head concealed under a brown wig, nobody is likely to mistake Satoshi Fujita for Brad Pitt or any other babe magnet. However, those tempted to snicker at the thought of the 47-year-old guy picking up a woman on the street should think again.

During our 20-minute photo shoot in Tokyo's Shinjuku district, he spotted a "target" on the sidewalk. Fujita displayed no shyness at initiating a conversation with this attractive, well-dressed stranger. Would she dash off or whack him with her bag? Nope. She listened, smiled and laughed. It was a clear victory for our 164-centimeter-tall Don Juan.

His pickup line? "Are you on your way back from the Paris Collection?" OK, not exactly magic, but the woman was obviously flattered...more...

I know your question is rethorical but I'll tell you. Very easy. I say "I like you, you are pretty, can we have coffee?"

Or usually I coment on something they are doing like if on a train they are texting someone I'll say " would you like to e-mail me as well?"

I'm very spontaneous. I don't go out thinking I'm going to use this line or that. I just say what comes to mind. Buddy of mine was having problems finding a girl. I told him to walk my dog down at the park next to the train station. Well, he met a few. He actually ended up getting married to one of them.

My girlfriend at the time told this story to her high school girl friend. The high school girl friend is now married.
