Though I do tend to think that pop stars and actesses in other Asian countries are far more beautiful than those in Japan, I don't think that necessarily translates to a better looking population in general. I wonder why they look better? It must be a different standard of beauty.

It makes ordinary (translate: ugly) Asian women into super hot princesses.
Too bad they don't have much in terms of a personality... remember 90% of them were raised as an only child, and it kind of shows... Korean, HK and even Taiwanese women are way way ahead of anything from mainland China in that respect.IkemenTommy wrote:The grass is greener on the other side.. but I second that!

1) larger pop means more more to choose from
2) bigger genetic pool (taller, more curves, etc.)...
3) and less genetic algae (no pigeon toes, frightful teeth, etc.)
That said, Japanese women have the upper hand in some areas
1) manners - seldom see a J-girl fishing for a "nose goblin"
2) they dress up well
I see quite a few K-girls here and they seem to be a happy medium between the two.
