Yamato: The Largest Battleship Ever Built

This website has a whole bunch of photos of the largest model ship I've ever seen. I've seen real Naval craft that are smaller than this model. Unfortunately, the website is all in Russian so I have no idea what it's all about. Does anyone have more info on this model?

The musuem is in Kure, home port of the Yamato.

For all that detail they put into the model, you'd think they would have included the wave motion gun.:p

This would make one hell of a remote control boat. You could mount guns and rockets and stuff on it and terrorize some small Japanese fishing village.
Probably not as much fun as sharks with frickin laser beams on their heads though...
