Excellent story. Very compelling given that the source is a confirmed peacenik and man of the cloth for whom "peace" is usually the mantra for everything. Every peacenik should read this story about what life is under a totalitarian regime. You want to live that way? Not me. That's what my brave, courageous forefathers fought for. I am not going to forget what they did and neither should you. Death to Saddam you Godless robber of spirit. Die slow.

I read the article but quite frankly I'm not buying it, it smacks of propaganda. I don't think people are protesting the war because they like Saddam, I think they protest because it's not our fight.

But I think America should topple all the evil regimes in the world, for the people. Then, in 50 years this wouldn't be a bad planet to live on. Except even America would have a difficult time dealing with China.

That will most likely be handled rather easily. America can just incite them to adopt communism again, after they have gained democracy, which will then bring them back to their PRE-Mao days

Be serious. No one is going to "nuke China". They're slowly coming out of their Mao-hysteria... I predict they'll form an Asian version of the European Union within my lifetime.
