Symbols Of Tokyo

I recognize the gingko leaf logo for Tokyo but I didn't realize that the city also has an official bird and official cherry blossom. I've seen the crest around the place too but I wonder how many people know it's an official symbol. More details on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government site.
