The same way I hate when women wear stockings with open-toed shoes. It's not offensive, it just looks like shit.

Coincidentally, my wife and I were in Ginza earlier this evening, and I asked her why some women wear stockings with their open-toed shoes and other don't. Is it correlated with age? Perceived ugliness of toes? Naturally she waved me off with some vague answer.

You can actually get open toed stockings. So you get the nice look on your legs but don't have the unsightly seam around the toes. (yuk - makes me shudder just thinking about it.)

Or just wear closed toed shoes when you wear stockings!! It isn't that hard!!

But I really think that people need to have a mirror by their front doors as people put their shoes on and leave the house without seeing the whole ensemble. There are some HUGE fashion no-nos walking around out there just because of their shoe choice. White shoes, black tights or worse, black knee high socks?? Crikey!!

I always thought it was because the J girls' legs were sooo white they tended to STILL show little pepper sprinkles even after a good shave. I like the milky light skin tone, but that tends to show all sorts of stuff, hence the covering up.

Oh yes - it never ceases to amaze me how many layers some girls wear at the gym under their gym clothes. Frightening and makes their arses just look like a solid round lump rather than actual skin and flesh.
