Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms should be the name of a store, not a government agency.

The combination of OCR and MT should lead to some very "interesting" results!
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

The above article translated in Systran (supposed market leader in MT)
The translator of the specialist may face when being the technology which in the job placement place which crosses the world Fuji Xerox developed because of the most recent prototype photocopy machine it makes well, directly. The Japanese show [ the device of subscription link ] only presently, while maintaining the layout of the origin, scans the seat to which the Japanese from the newspaper or the magazine text is printed, Chinese, can stir English or Korean from that translation. Repel the switch of opposite direction and the work of language analysis. As for the secret of Fuji Xerox the text for designing the maintenance, in algorithm and the enthusiastic translation server and connects this being able to distinguish during sketch and the line there is a nameless copier in the networking.

Needless to say, I'm not too worried about job security just yet. :p

There will be a growth industry in proof reading and correcting the translations this machine puts out

I want to buy one of these, then rig up an automatic document feeder, hooking up the output to the input. Drop in an original document, then it gets into an infinite loop of back and forth translations. I figure that given enough paper and toner, it will eventually collapse into a black hole of unintelligibility.

That would actually be great. Proofing/rewriting gets finished a lot quicker than translation (for me anyway) and actually ends up earning me more money on average than a lot of translation jobs do.

Also, much less stressful :D

You'll eventually end up with a new chapter of Revelations.
