Japanese Tourists Accused of Insensitivity

Some Korean media sources are upset that Japanese tourists are lining up to have the photos taken in front of the ruins of Namdaemun, Seoul's top national treasure which was burned down in an arson attack last week. Their actions are being called "insensitive". However, Enjoy Korea has posted images showing half of Seoul turning out to photograph the smoking remains.

Not only the FGs on this forum but the Koreans and Chinese are seriously annoying me with their anti-Japan slant.

They should blame the arsonist, not the people taking pix of the rubble

Can Korea Protect Its Historical Sites?

It appears Chae was able to enter the premises of the ancient gate fairly easily. According to police, the 70-year-old climbed over a wall and used a ladder to enter the pavilion Sunday night, and set the blaze using three bottles of paint thinner just before 9 pm.

Critics of Seoul's lackadaisical approach to conservation point out that Japan, another country with many historical wooden structures, has numerous measures in place to protect its national treasures, including sophisticated sprinkler systems.

There's a button on the top menu bar of your browser that can quickly cure the problems you seem to be having with this board.

My advisor who is actually a conservator (for cultural heritage) was in a state of shock. He was sad from the news. But of course if you respect a country (he is japanese) but he likes Korea and Korean people...He was in fact sad that something like this can happen at a site of such importance and of so much cultural value.
(write something smart here)
