Mononofu, an internet retailer specializing in goods with a sengoku jidai theme, has just opened a bricks and mortar a store in Shinjuku. There's not much in the way of swords or armour. Instead, artists and designers have taken some of the motifs used by the warring clans to produces fabrics, jewellery, T-shirts, keitai straps and other accessories which have all proved popular with younger customers. The baseball cap might have prompted an outbreak of seppuku if the warriors at the time had known what would become of their treasured symbols.
