What experience does Japan have? If they want the US recession to last ten years or more, sure they that kind of experience. I think Japan should just keep quiet and hope that things pick up soon, or they too will be in for a heap of trouble.

That's one thing. But what's this "personal charm" of Aso that this guy talks about?

Besides the fact that he is barely known outside Japan and Japanese PMs are mostly not taken seriously because of their short tenure and lack of influence, I was under the impression that Aso was particularly lacking in the charm area.

If Japan release U.S government bonds, U.S economy collapse soon, as you know. And Japan decided to donate 100 billion dollors to fuckin IMF, which already was given to Iceland and Pakistan (Thank and keel in front of Japan forever, Icelanders!!!!)and never repay to Japan.
Yeah, Japan is an ATM for only dotard Uncle Sam.

Well, the minister was right that this was an American problem that went global. American's obsession with greed allowed people to buy million dollar homes on blue collar salaries, allowed mortgage brokers to write loans with no proof of income, and allowed financial institutions to fashion worthless pieces of paper into bars of gold. Foriegn countries bought into the scheme, but it was all started here in the Good Ole USA.

The thing that got us into this mess will be the thing that gets us out, greed. It's the one feeling that can trump fear. When we hit bottom sometime next year I think the economy will whiplash back because everyone knows there will be a fuckin planet load of money to be made.

As for Japan, well, America is their biggest customer. As America goes, so goes Japan.

Aso? Who knows. But as my wife says, oh what a difficult name to have when dealing with Westerners.
Spare a drink?

..by multinational corporations that were founded in the US, but sold their mortgage securities internationally. There's enough blame to go around the world.
