I hope you left a pile of teeth, hair and eyeballs on the pavement when you departed the scene. Most taxi drivers are good guys just trying to make a living. Assholes like your horn honking buddy there appear too often in their midst.

Those types need to get their ass kicked more often to remind them who the rest of the world is and where its located.

That pic of the naked FG is great. The cops are cowering as he wields his swingin' FG weapon!

The cops are probably thinking that a komuin's salary just aint enough to have to battle that.

Call me a cynic, but I don't think Japanese can claim the moral high ground while AV actresses are still dying during porno shoots.

BTW, I was at Libro on friday just browsing and saw a new mook very similar to the "Gaijin Hanzai file", but this time focussed on the Chinese exclusively. I think it was called "The Real Face of the Dangerous Chinese", or something like that.
Mr Kobayashi: First, I experienced a sort of overpowering feeling whenever I was in the room with foreigners, not to mention a powerful body odor coming from them. I don't know whether it was a sweat from the heat or a cold sweat, but I remember I was sweating whenever they were around.

More to the point, I don't think they can claim the moral high ground with regard to how they (some of them) behave as "guests" in foreign countries.

I do think this situation will get worse in the short term though. Now that Japan is faced with a growing foreign population that is more or less permanent (not all of whom are paragons of good behavior, to be sure), rather than merely tourists who will spend money today and be gone tomorrow, the true prejudices will come out into the open. Hopefully they will be dealt with a put away before anything really nasty happens.

whether they like it or not, japan needs those tourists who spend money today. the permanent foreign population doesn't have that much disposable income and will not be spending on things like hotels and tourist crap. but with japan in recession and no end of it in sight, i find it really amazing that they continue to gaijin-bash.

actually, no, i don't find it amazing at all. what is amazing though is that japanese still think their recession is the fault of foreigners.

... and AIDS (or any disease, for that matter), and pot-smoking college students (and all other drugs, of course), and imported animal and plant species that disrupt the native wildlife, and the degeneration of morals among young people, and obesity, and the increase in crime, and Kentucky Fried Chicken ... well, maybe they're right about that last one.

But yeah. If it's bad, it isn't theirs.
