Middle School "Murderers" Misunderstood?

Postby Mike Oxlong » Sun Mar 29, 2009 11:57 am

Boys tried to make teacher miscarry

Eleven boys in the first grade of a city-run middle school in Handa, Aichi Prefecture, formed a group whose mission was to make their pregnant homeroom teacher miscarry, mounting a campaign of harassment against her and lacing her school lunch with alum, it was learned Saturday.

According to the municipal board of education, the boys began tormenting their teacher, who is in her 30s, in January, when she was about five months pregnant. Their harassment included covering her car with chalk dust and trying to get her to fall from her chair by loosening a screw in it. On Feb. 4, the students sprinkled alum they had stolen during a science class on meat sauce in a dish she had for lunch.

The teacher apparently suffered no ill effects from the chemical, which is used to purify water and as a food additive.

The boys said they bore a grudge against the teacher because she told them off during a club activity and because they did not like the new seating arrangement she introduced.

Over react much? I wonder if they are going to punish the kids or a stern talking to is all they are going to get?

I doubt much will come of it....

I too doubt much will happen to them. The teachers and parents will sit them down, give them a stern talking too, and that will be that. Now if I was one of their fathers, I promise you my little bastard wouldn't be able to sit down for a week as I'd tan his hide red raw. There really isn't enough discipline in the world anymore :(

Active-aggressive is more like it. Trying to poison food and rigging furniture to break goes beyond passivity...

Brogan A placed firmly in Ass B at an early age, goes a long way in resolving these type of issues before they reach the point where the question of passivity arises...

Like I always say, there is no accountability whatsoever! Upset about a stupid seating position??? The blame shouldn't only end with these kids, you need to look at some of these parents too. Most of the parents let the kids do anything they want. They want them to be comfortable. Most of the schools don't prosecute these crimes aggressively enough.

Failing that, I feel post-natal abortion would be a good tool to have at your disposal.

Damn right, they will wind up in the news some years for now and the punishment they will recieve is a quick drop with a sudden stop at the end. Probably wondering why they didn't have another parent-teacher conference.

The part that had me scratching my head was the whole, oh we can't punish them because then they will run away or cut their risks. My reaction, good at least they would only be hurting themselves. It's called expulsion, look it up Japan.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Japan is a nation of pussies. And I'm not talking about the wet, warm, fuzzy kind.
