[/floatr]The Yomiuri reports (Japanese) that a man has been arrested for pretending to be his wife. 49 year old Katsuaki Ishida has extensive debts and his personal details are now on a consumer finance blacklist which prevents him from taking out loans. He hit on the idea of getting a reissued driving licence in his wife's name and so put on a wig, make-up, black skirt and, using two balloons filled with water as false breasts (see right), went to submit an application. Staff at the issuing centre in Konosu, Saitama, were immediately suspicious and a quick check of his wife's data confirmed he was an imposter. He was quickly arrested. The reports mentions Ishida says he works a few nights a week at a local gay bar and didn't think he would be so easily unmasked.
