Yay! Lemonade :)

Postby james » Wed Jun 24, 2009 1:14 pm

No longer an exotic import, you can now get real lemonade from vending machines and since they also have bottles, i'm assuming convenience & grocery stores..

I was just at my local 7-11 and they haven't got it. They do have the new tea flavoured Coca Cola, it actually doesn't taste bad for a diet cola, and the Shiso Pepsi abomination, which I'm scared to try.

Limon nida?

Postby IkemenTommy » Wed Jun 24, 2009 6:00 pm

If I see that correctly, it's only 13% juice. What's the rest of the 87%... sugar and water?

I posted this over in the J signs forum, but thought it was relevant here too.

Cola Chu-hi.

I thought it was OK, like a RC Cola. Not something I would go looking for but not terrible by any stretch.

It wasn't long before someone ever thought of it.
Too bad it's only 3% alcohol and you would need a 12 pack case just to get a slight buzz going.

That Shiso Coke taste like shit! First they came out with that nasty cucumber flavor, then that horrible disgusting Pineapple flavored junk! Now this mess! Just stick to the original formula, I think that would be their best option.

Correct me if I'm wrong -- but doesn't 'Limon & Nada' mean pretty much Lemon and Nothing?

So that's why it tasted like sugar water without the lemons! Damn, damn, damn!

Yup...I am thinking in a warped sort of way the manufacturer is trying to convey that the drink contains Lemons and nothing (else)...so as to imply the drink is pure, unadulterated lemonade as opposed to one of the run of the mill ghastly concoctions.

Actually rebuto and you are both right...written as one word limonada is lemonade in Spanish, but yes written as two words you are right...those two words, as I also acknowledged, do mean lemon and nothing.

It is a flippant play on words...

I found it at Seijo Ishii yesterday. It's okay, nothing special and not real worth searching around for.

I'd drink it again, but I'm not going to hunt around for it. It's easier to make your own.
