Makes perfectly good sense to me. Porn can't get any more explicit, or in some cases gory, than it is already, and the more explicit it gets the less titillating it becomes. The only direction to go is toward more substance. Actual story lines, even. I'd say they're making a very good move.

The problem is deeper than dat'

90% of the production is 1 guy holding a cam while schtooping a gal in a hotel room. 9 more percent a composed of maybe 1 or 2 guys behind the cam mostly when there's a need for group shot.
1 percent can technically qualify as movies... But without anybody to write a script. Watching "sexual Yoga" with Yua Aida is actually painfull...

Most of the scene read like:
