The only difference is that the Holocaust was exhaustively documented while Nanking was not and therefore more exposed to biased interpretations.

Good point too about Irish Chang's biases - she ended up putting a photo or maybe two in the book that was a fucking forgery. Doesnt do much for cred when you don't do your research on your photos authenticity.

i just don't see the basis for her putting so much behind this book. After all, she was struggling with depression which of course drove her overboard. She allowed her hatred of the Japanese get the best of her, and in so doing, she made the right choice in the end.
