If "bear beer bitters" is not good enough, give something really romantic for Valentine's Day like a chocolate stout.
Sankt Gallen Brewery in Atsugi is selling Valentine special brewing beer Imperial Chocolate Stout (tm).

I'd say this was a ONLY-IN-JAPAN situation but actually the Chocolate Bear Beer bitter is from Belgium and packaged for the Japanese market. And a few years ago the BBC had a story about a chocolate beer being introduced in London.

Written like a typical "L" refugee! It was Olys that claimed the water made the difference, not Hamms or even that old standard, Bull Frog Beer!

Chocolate Beer is old news...

Just this past weekend I was on holidays in Margaret River and enjoying all types of different beers at the local brewries.

The strangest were; Thanks to the wicked ale brewry (which wehave been back to year after year!);

Chilli Beer - burns the back of your throat
Chocolate Beer - Sweetish Chocolate taste to start
Strawberry Beer - All the girls love this one (even if they dont like beer)

Basically, it is another fake Belgian gimmick beer. By belgian standards I serious doubt it is even that good. For one thing why use chocolate? There are several types of malt that will deliver a nice cholately taste. Mo better is Verboden Vrucht which is authentic Belgian beer some stores try to fob off on Valentines due mostly to the label. The difference being that Verboden Vrucht is a seriously strong (and delicious) beer that might actually do the trick.

Hey, at least you didn't get one of these...
Japanese Die Hard Promotion
cinemablend.com | 2013-02-14
If you want to get something promoted in Japan, forget about posters and life-sized cardboard cutouts. What’s the best way you can think of to promote A Good Day to Die Hard? Putting the film’s image on an oily sleeveless wife beater? Releasing a bald plush doll that says “Yippee kay-yay, motherfucker?...
...
“Chocolate John McClane” created to promote the film, as translated in Japanese Die Hard The Last Day. I never thought I would say that Bruce Willis looked delicious ...more...

Bit late to the party, but would they put up with a poem instead of chocolates?
