The cheap fries promo never made it Korea, but ONE group of Korean teens did it and if you’re wasteful with food in Korea, old farit is going to bitch, but apparently the employees got mad.
Then somebody on RocketNews was at deadline and reposted it causing the current media circle-jerk.

I'm sorry but there is no way that the fries on those table cost $250US. If you can buy a large for Y150, I figure two large would cover a tray, even if you used 4 large fries, you are looking at Y600, per tray. Twenty trays, is only Y12000, no where near the $250.

I was thinking the same thing. Each of Potato-Party kids could heap their tray with only 3 or 4 orders of large fries. If the Potato-Partiers ordered individually and spred their orders out, they won't even have to phone ahead to Mickey D's. Each kid probably can eat 3 orders of fries if that was the only thing they were going to have, so there wouldn't be that much wastage.


As I said before, RocketNews24 has been making up these fake fast-food gluttony reports for a long time.
