I'm always tempted to chuck my T.V. out the window. JP TV is slowly killing me like a creeping propaganda cancer.

Please, don't insult propaganda... jnews makes the Pravda looks like the good oldtime by comparison, and Jtv make looking at mold growing look like a suspense ridden movie...

Linked post is empty, presumably it was taken down...

Was the unlucky recruiter's name Steve Ballmer by any chance?

Notice that in the update the title changes from the exciting "Hurls Chair Out of Office Window" to the boring "Hurls Chair In Office, Hits Office Window." The story update also removes the identifying pronoun, "hurled her chair out the office window located on the 14th floor."
Update: Robert Walters Japan Recruiter Allegedly Hurls Chair In Office, Hits Office Window
firstpointjapan.com | 02/28/2013 (Google cache)
You thought your job was tough? Well, try being a rank and file contingency recruiter in Tokyo faced with falling rates, cut-throat competition (often from your very own co-workers) and the massive and accelerating switch-over from reliance on agency recruiters to taking the recruiting function in-house coupled with an increased usage of referral and network hiring.
Over the last nearly 7 years, we've thought we've seen everything (including GESS International) in the Japan Recruiting Industry but if this new allegation is true, then evidently we haven't.
In what, if proven true, can only be described as a scene straight out of a Hollywood action movie, we received word that a Robert Walters Japan Recruiter allegedly hurled a chair in the office and hit a window office.
One report suggests that the window actually broke and suggested that the recruiter was upset about being "let go".
If this allegation is true, then it would be a very dangerous situation not only for any co-workers, candidates or clients in the office at the time, but since according to the Robert Walter's website, their office is located on the 14th floor, havoc could have rained on pedestrians below.
We have received an email from Robert Walters just earlier. We are requesting verification on these allegations and will post more shortly.
If this allegation is, in fact, confirmed, then it may require that in the near future, if you find yourself walking around large buildings that house Recruiting Firms, keep your eyes open or better yet wear a hard hat to ward off office furniture that may be launching out from the skyline to the street below.

If you have any other inside information or details on this alleged event, please contact us -- your identity will be held in the strictest confidence!

Being curious, I called someone who was likely to have heard the details and was told:

The chair thrower was female.
The chair bounced off the window but the management at Robert Walters Japan claiming that they feared more "violence" called police.

Good on her, I say.
I wish I had reacted with such passion on the (all-too-numerous) occasions of being dismissed...mainly, though, I've just turned around and taken it up the cakehole like a fucking coward.
