It's the 17th and already Saint Paddy's Day in Japan...

Christmas, St. Valentines Day, Halloween, and now St. Paddy's day.

All celebrated without a clue.

Not that I really mind, but when d'ya suppose they'll pick up on Easter?
(Think of the profits to be had from chocolate bunnies!)

My theory is that Easter hasn't been picked up because the dates vary wildly from year to year. The market (which can be created) for giri ovulating chocolate bunnies must be huge.

But, but...the Japanese got the "clue" about getting drunk for those holidays.

I'm Irish by nationality and heritage....St. Patrick's Day is a Plastic Paddy holiday: A true Irishman is pissed out of his mind every day of the year. (And I say Irishman because it is the fate of every Irish woman to be lumbered with a drunken bum of a husband who makes her life a fookin misery and thus enables her to wallow in the self-pity adored by the average Colleen). Rant over.
