Haagen Dazs to close last shop in Japan

Ice cream maker and distributor Haagen Dazs Japan Inc. will close its last shop, located in Chiba Prefecture, next Thursday, company officials said.
Haagen Dazs entered the Japanese market in 1984. Its stores were popular for their services and original menu items, such as sundaes with whipped cream and mochi dumplings. At its peak in 1994, the company operated 95 outlets across the country.

Wow I didn't think it was fat enough... I was raised on sweetened clotted cream. MMMMMMM 70% milkfat, blend in sugar with strawberries or choclate and freeze... would be heaven.
