KOFU -- A veteran police inspector under arrest for breaking into a woman's apartment has confessed that he wanted to "take a look at her underwear," police officials have said.
Mamoru Sueki, 50, of the Kofu Police Station initially denied breaking into the apartment when arrested Tuesday, saying that he was just there for a "preliminary inspection" before formally investigating whether illegal foreign residents were staying there.....
