The 新新新党 thread

Postby yanpa » Thu Dec 19, 2013 7:34 am

I saw on the news that some members of one of those small parties, maybe the one with Blinky Ishihara and that Osaka chappie, had split off to form their own party.

Let's use this thread to discuss this momentous moment in Japanese politics portentious of a sea change in the way brown paper envelopes are distributed, at least until the next splinter party comes along, probably some time next week.

Didn't the gov of Tokyo just resign cos he got caught taking a free loan, apparently he thought it would be rude to refuse 50,000,000 JPY.

50,000,000 Yen no string attached... yea I might think it would be rude too. :biggrin2:

The real problem is that there were strings attached, and that nobody with an ounce of sense could possibly have missed them.

Inose, like countless others in privileged positions of power, has turned out to be a greedy, evasive, lying c*nt.

In case y'all missed it, the Tokushukai Group (that gave Inose the loan) wanted to acquire the old TEPCO hospital that has gone up for sale, and the money was intended to ensure that they got their way. Inose denies this, and claims he can't remember the conversation with Tokushai in which it was discussed, but is on record having made public speeches championing Tokushukai as the most eligible contender for the acquisition.

BS piled upon BS piled upon more BS.

So, in addition to being corrupt, Inose also suffers from Alzheimer's.

I know a good hospital to treat this...
