ANA pilot posts insulting remarks on JAL Facebook page
All Nippon Airways (ANA) has apologized to rival Japan Airlines (JAL) after one of its pilots posted insulting remarks on the JAL Facebook page.
Last week, JAL posted an apology on its Facebook page for canceling about 170 flights due to getting behind on aircraft maintenance following a series of mishaps. On June 7, a pilot employed by ANA posted a comment on the JAL page, using his personal profile. He called JAL a bankrupt company being kept alive by taxpayers' money, Sports Nippon reported Wednesday.
The post was quickly deleted and ANA quickly responded, submitted a formal apology on Monday.
