What a letdown for the Koreans. I would have loved to see them grab third place and prove that soccer is not just a game for S. Americans and Europeans. Korea did have some great chances in the second-half to tie it up, though.
YBF is as ageless as time itself.--Cranky Bastard, 7/23/08

FG is my WaiWai--baka tono 6/26/08

There is no such category as "low" when classifying your basic Asian Beaver. There is only excellent and magnifico!--Greji, 1/7/06

They already did that by getting past the 16 group.

As for "proving" anything, a good team is a good team, regardless of where they're from. Watching them lose to the Germans in a tight match with excellent refs erased any doubts I may have had about them being a pretty good team.

Now, I'm getting pretty tired of hearing "Wow! Korea is the first Asian team to make it past ..blah blah blah.."... who cares? Good soccer is good soccer.
