Hiroshima A-bomb free-trip program shunned by media
HIROSHIMA, July 3 Kyodo - The city of Hiroshima has offered a free trip to Japanese journalists to Hiroshima to cover issues on the 1945 atomic bomb attack but the program attracted virtually no interest from the domestic media.

If they're going to keep the kids in the dark about the past, flush out all of the atrocities, not just the ones that make Japan look bad.

Japan was long reluctant to acknowledge the existence of comfort women, doing so only in 1992. References to them appeared in Japanese school textbooks for the first time in 1994
