Two months after the information appeared, the Japanese authorities still fail to find them
Two months ago, ten Chechen terrorists got in Japan to commit an act of terrorism, Japan's influential magazine Syukan bunsyun reported after an employee of the edition talked to governmental officials and military experts. The latter told, the Japanese Government obtained the information from reliable sources.... the authorities are making desperate attempts to find them.

Unless they speak Japanese, and look Japanese, I don't forsee them getting their hands on a suitcase nuke, dynamite, or any kind of explosive???

I don't believe it. More like a "watch out for whitey" race-baiting article from those poorly-written weeklies.

Chechens have their own problems to worry about, but don't forget the consequences of racist hysteria... it happened in 1923, it can happen again.

Maybe I'm out of the loop and this is a stupid question (there are no stupid questions; only stupid people), but what exactly do the Chechens have against Japan? I can easily see why they commit terrorist acts in Russia after the Russian "Village Sweep" operations (you know, bomb and shell a village until it no longer exist); but Japan?
As for where they can get supplies, weapons and explosives aren't as hard to get here than many think. Still alot harder than almost any other countries; but where there is a will, there is a way.

Islamic fundamentalist terrorism today is globalised, so their personnel get shifted around the globe to where ever the terrorist commanders think they are needed for some purpose. The previously localised Islamic insurgencies world-wide have linked up with each other, so they bring in experts from various theatres to act as specialists where they are needed: hostage takers, bomb construction experts, fundraisers, logistics experts, etc. So today, you can find Muslim fundamentalists from anywhere pop-up in the most unlikely war-zones/locations on a mission.

eg, You read about Afghans and Chechens training local Muslims in Aceh and Irian Jaya (West Papua) in Indonesia. Japanese Muslim converts in Afghanistan and Chechnya, and British Muslims just about everywhere as cannon-fodder. The common thread though is they are almost always members of the 'Wahhabi' sect of fundamentalist Islam, like Bin Laden.

I keep thinking about the arrangements at which they got in.

I mean, entry, visas, place of residence, sponsors, workplace. and from passports I'm sure they've ID'd them in any case. If so, and they put them on TV or hyped the "Wanted" aspect of the suspects publically, It would be bound to be something like that last scene in Farenheit 451, as a desparate Montag takes flight from the Cousins. Could you Imagine being wanted and publically ID'd in place where 97 percent of the people walking the streets have Keitai Cel phones?

But as far as a "where" to get arms, I'd say military base (Unlikely, unless you find a real slimball source), Yakuza (unlikely unless you have a japanese Buyer), police (and this would be fetching), or russian mob (who might not give a shit about some Chechen nutjobs).
