Ishihara's friends express frustration
Asahi: Group suing Ishihara over French faux pas
Angry Francophones are taking up the gauntlet that Tokyo Governor Shintaro Ishihara threw down last year when he made unflattering comments about the French language. Ishihara, who is no stranger to controversy, stunned a group of French speakers last October when he said: "It may well be that French fails to qualify as an international language because it is one that cannot count."...It's not clear what Ishihara meant by the "cannot count" remark. He has not responded to an Asahi Shimbun inquiry on the matter.

les Français sont stupides !!
Going to Taiwan to say F**k you to the Chinese might be one thing, but calling Koreans dogs and saying France is stupid is another problem.
Nah Governor Blink never said that, but he made some horrid remarks when he had his meetings with Nazi JorgHaider/JoergeHider of the Austrian Neo-Fascist party to see how his other NeoNazi plans were getting along
Koizumi says he didn't offer prayers at Hitler's grave

Party for Japanese Kokoro finished, Sunrise Party gone, Japan Restoration Party dead.

石原 慎太郎 finally gone, people happy he's finally dead

Fukushima plan to release water into ocean approved by UN watchdog
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/ ... r-into-sea

Weird stuff in water, Foreign Affairs stuff in people's waters don't worry Hirotaka Ishihara’s taken care of that diplomacy and Nobuteru Ishihara is going to pump some Fukushima

The Daddy? Never full of himself and never arrogant, he said to a Playboy Magazine interviewer in 1990 that "If I had remained a movie director, I can assure you that I would have at least become a better one than Akira Kurosawa"

pretty much an outrageous delusional comment to make since Akira Kursosawa framing, editing and story making is unique and stupid even today Kurosawa 's work is praised by all artists the world over and is a world respected film maker ...and to say assure you would be better than Kurosawa...well..i dunno Ishihara Shintaro was a unique man.

Ishihara movie, Crazed Fruit (1956)

In reference to the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami and the subsequent Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, Ishihara said "that the triple disaster was 'punishment from heaven' because Japanese have become greedy"

After all these years I now agree with him, French don't seem to know the Birth Rate, "cannot count" and can not see they will soon be replaced by the islamist jihad Arab?

French organization honors foreign film distributor
https://www.asahi.com/ajw/articles/14903410
Yoko Yamanaka was in her 20s when she founded Cetera International, an importer and distributor of foreign films, mainly European movies, in 1989.
The Tokyo-based company not only celebrated its 34th anniversary this year, but Yamanaka in March was also given the Gold Medal for Francophone Values (Medaille d’Or des Valeurs Francophones) from La Renaissance Francaise, a public interest corporation.
The award recognizes those who have contributed to the development of the French culture and language in their country.
