Chinese and (possibly Japanese??) uses "more brain"

Researchers in Britain have found that people who speak Mandarin Chinese use both sides of their brain to understand the language.

This compares to English-language speakers who only need to use one side of their brain.

This perhaps makes sense. The FGs who make the most head-way with the language seem to be Dyslexic (suffers use both sides of the brain) - and speaking many Euro- langauges before learning Japanese seems to have no advantages as far as Japanese is concerned :idea:

chinese uses tones. there is more required to distinguish them than there is in english

Nothing wrong with being grammatically incorrect. I'd use "you"

Or we could consider English, a Latin and Germanic amalgamation with French and Spanish influences, to be a wonderfully diverse creation, much like many of us FGs...
