Japan has thousands of victims of sexual slavery and is on a new U.S. "watch list" for failing to do more against the trafficking of humans by the underworld, a report released by the U.S. State Department says.

Japan "has a huge problem with slavery, particularly sex slavery, a tremendous gap between the size of the problem and the resources and efforts devoted to addressing the problem," senior State Department adviser John Miller said Monday.

They clearly need to start exporting to make up for their trade imbalance.. Do 'homestays' count?

When I was a foreign student adviser/ombudsman in my university in Colorado, every semester about 20% of all homestays, both male and female, had sex related grievances filed by the the students or against them. The university finally refused to officially sanction homestay as living opinion for new ESL/EFL students. In my experience, the Japanese style of immature-dependency homestay is just too hinky for adult students in the States.

Japan are too selfish to give a shit about this...these women are often abused by the scum that make the laws...talk to any japanese and they will say "they want to come here" just like the comfort women issue.

they complain about 20 or so kidnappings from Nth Korea over 30 years but kidnap,rape beat and sometimes kill thousands of thousands in one decade.

Then when the women are finished with they are overstayers and help boost the foreign crime rate...the brainwashed public lap it up.
