Prank on Aussie girl blows up in hoax bomber's face

A man who posted a message on the Internet threatening to blow up JR Tokyo Station because an Australian woman refused to teach him English was arrested Tuesday, police said.

Akihiro Yoshida, a 26-year-old unemployed man from Showa-ku, Nagoya, has admitted to posting the bomb hoax under the Australian woman's name.

"The woman refused to give me English lessons," officers quoted Yoshida as saying. "I was out to get some revenge."

He couldn't have just left a flaming bag of doggie-do on her doorstep and rang the bell? Geez....

Yeah, the guy looked like a pervert who was probably trying to sexually harass the Australian woman.
Perhaps she should make a case against the him for defamation of character and harassment.
The road to the abyss.

Ergo....Who (or what) is reading the plethora of internet forums so carefully that these items are getting reported and 'actioned' by the police.

Does this scrutiny extend to English/French etc language forums also?

If it's a spider then what words are being loaded as triggers?

What is the law on these matters?

I'm starting to get an uncomfortable feeling about someone 'watching over me'

"Channel 2" guys are really cynical. Many are probably involved in illegal activities themselves but I doubt they would hesitate to jump on something like that. Tokyo Metropolitan Government makes it easy to report e-crimes on their website.
