A clinic here has discarded aborted embryos as garbage over the past several years, former employees said Tuesday.

Embryos that are over 12 weeks old are treated the same way as adults' bodies. However, those under 12 weeks old are classified as "infectious waste" under the Industrial Disposal Law.

I know some people over 12 weeks old that could be considered 'infectious waste'.
