Residents reject 'unlucky' registry network numbers
After the coastal city started delivering the numbers to its 19,000 residents on mail, two people have separately asked to be given different numbers. "The last four digit will bring misfortune to me," one of the duo reportedly said.
(translation: there's a bunch of 4's in it)
And I knew this was going to start happening...
Tuesday that people should be wary of a mysterious caller who tries to get private information by pretending to be an official in charge the national resident registry network.

The Kanagawa government has ordered all 37 municipalities in the prefecture to study whether or not any such incident occurred after learning that at least two Kanagawa women on Tuesday received inquiries from the mysterious caller.
