Japan wins solar car race ...
West Australia Sunday Times Mon Aug 02 2004 05:47:00 GMT+0900 PANDA-SAN team of Japan won the F1A Dream Cup solar car race today, in the second heat of the two-day, eight-hour competition.
In second after the first four-hour heat yesterday, Panda-san overtook Japan's Saiki team to finish 63 laps in 6:05.55 and capture the title.
Ashiya University's team was the runner-up with 62 laps in 6:05.02, and Osaka Industrial University placed third after completing 59 laps in 5:50.31.
