3 Cabinet members visit Yasukuni Shrine to mark end of war
TOKYO, Aug. 15, Kyodo -
Three members of Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's Cabinet visited Tokyo's Yasukuni Shrine on Sunday to mark the 59th anniversary of the end of World War II.
Koizumi did not visit the shrine as he already did so on New Year's Day. Instead, he offered flowers at the tomb for the unknown war dead at the Chidorigafuchi National Cemetery... regarded in many Asian countries as a symbol of Japanese militarism. North and South Korea and China regularly denounce visits by leading Japanese politicians to the Shinto shrine.
The three ministers are Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Shoichi Nakagawa, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister Yoshiyuki Kamei, and National Public Safety Commission chairwoman Kiyoko Ono.

Koizumi made his fourth annual visit to the shrine Jan. 1 this year since taking office in April 2001.
He said last Tuesday he would not visit the shrine Sunday, but would visit sometime next year, a comment that quickly drew criticism from China.

What does it say in English at the top of the Hiroshima Nagasaki poster - I can just make something out but can't read it ...
