Urgent Press Conference, John Bosnitch, Committee to Free Bobby Fischer, The Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan August 19, 2004 16:30 PAC The Committee to Free Bobby Fischer will be speaking at an FCCJ press conference at 4:30 PM on Thursday, August 19, 2004. The speakers will be John Bosnitch, who heads the committee; Ms. Miyoko Watai, the acting President of the Japan Chess Association and fiancee of Mr. Fischer; Ms. Masako Suzuki, Mr. Fischer's lawyer; and Mr. Ichiji Ishii, a former Vice Foreign Minister of Japan who has signed to be the guarantor for Mr Fischer's provisional release from detention. They will be: 1. Announcing the status of Mr. Fischer and Ms. Watai's registration of their marriage, 2. Releasing previously secret U.S. embassy documents that led to Mr. Fischer's unlawful seizure at Narita Airport, 3.
