North Korean Said to Find Ways to Have a Hot Time in Siberia
At the same time, a new book portrays last year's rail trip as a sybaritic excursion. The memoir, by Konstantin Pulikovsky, President Vladimir V. Putin's envoy to the Russian Far East, notes the North Korean's affinity for platform shoes, his fondness for Russian women and his gourmet meals.
During the long trip, Mr. Pulikovsky said in a promotional interview with Sapio, a Japanese magazine, Mr. Kim tired first of his North Korean chef, then of a Russian chef, "so later we had the best cook in St. Petersburg cook the dishes."
