Mt. Asama volcano erupts

Whoa, I've been up there.

Television footage shown by public broadcaster NHK showed a red glow lighting up the night sky from the eruption.

I've been up there too---if you wanna "climb" a volcano, this one is 100 times more fun than Fuji-san.

NHK has been showing VOLCANTIC LIGHTENING video of the top of the mountain. TRIPPY! When those lazy bums at NHK finally post it, ya gotta see it.

I saw this on the Korean news this morning. At first they just had the nighttime pics and I thought it was just some big forest fire.

Guess not!

They got around to the daytime stuff at the end of the report. Great footage. Not sure who they copped it from.
